Chung-Han Lee
Chung-Han Lee is an attorney in the Litigation Department of Wildman Harrold. He has a broad litigation practice, which includes representing and advising national and international clients in complex commercial disputes, consumer and personal injury class actions, as well as toxic tort and product liability cases. Chung counsels clients on all manner of business disputes, often devising an effective resolution or strategy that fits the business needs of each client. Chung has significant experience defending businesses in consumer class actions around the United States alleging consumer fraud, consumer protection, false advertising and breach of warranty. He also represents chemical companies in toxic exposure cases in both putative class actions and individual or mass injury cases. He is well versed in every phase of the litigation process from initial investigation and discovery to motion practice to trial and appeal.
Chung is currently the Chair of Wildman Harrold’s Minority Counsel Initiative, and he also serves on the firm’s Diversity Committee and Recruiting Committee.
Representative Experience:
- Won summary judgment on behalf of pressure treated wood manufacturers on indemnity and contribution cross-claims brought by retailer
- Obtained favorable settlements after grant of partial summary judgment on behalf of officers and members of SBIC in breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract action brought by the Small Business Administration
- Successfully obtained permanent injunctive relief and monetary settlement in prosecution of electrical component counterfeiters on behalf of electrical manufacturer
- Obtained half-million dollar judgment on behalf of brand marketing company in breach of contract dispute over unpaid commissions for media buys
- Led defense of major tire manufacturer against property and personal injury claims brought by toxic tort plaintiffs seeking millions of dollars in damages
- Served as regional counsel for leading appliance manufacturer defending products liability and asbestos claims, often obtaining dismissals or negotiating favorable settlements
- As lead counsel, represented major telecommunications carrier in Telecommunications Act claims against municipality for denial of conditional use permit for installation of wireless antennas
- Represented global communications manufacturer in breach of contract and theft of trade secrets case against former Taiwanese outsourcing partner, managing all aspects of electronic discovery
- Defended global communications manufacturer against putative consumer class action lawsuit alleging manufacturing and design defects
- Represented chemical industry clients in class action and mass tort exposure matters throughout the United States involving alleged exposures to chromated copper arsenate (“CCA”)
