He serves as Vice-Chair of the California Bar's IP section Executive Committee, and is a member of the Law Firm Advisory Board of the Association of Media & Entertainment Counsel. He also advocates for diversity, serving on the Board of Directors for the California Minority Counsel Program, and the Board of Directors of Equality California. He graduated from the University of Southern California Law School in 1995 at age 22, the youngest member of his class.
